You've got 200 items to try and 2 hours to do it. That's 1.6 items per minute. The sands of the hour glass are running down, and an overbearing waitress is losing patience. How can you navigate such a demanding schedule?!
DON'T PANIC!
You can do this. Clearly you wouldn't have submitted to such an ordeal if it wasn't worth it.
Here's your game plan:
1. Prioritize!
Don't waste your time with the cheap stuff. Go straight for the seafood and fancy meats. Loosen your pants.
2. Time management!
Trust, but verify. Get your own timer going - don't take their word for it. Start the stopwatch and watch it closely. The time doesn't start until you are free to roam the buffet. Don't waste time in lines when they are there. Take the quick route to the good stuff, and suffer no fools!
3. Focus!
Less talk. More eat. Stack your plate high and make it happen!
4. Entree - dessert - entree method.
Let dessert re-energize you. Go big or go home!
5. Accept no distractions.
Clearly with 200 items they're going to throw some distractions at you. Mashed potatoes, while delicious, have been done. Get the crab legs. Get the shrimp. Let the cheap stuff go! Probably 80% of what they're throwing at you isn't worth your time. You can grab that at the KFC on the way home. You gotta earn this buffet! Do it to it!
You got this!
